PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact foldable type safe frame used for western style stool and portable toilet. SOLUTION: A safe frame 5 surrounding a western style stod 1a comprises a horizontal handrail 10 provided on both sides, front legs and rear legs 27a provided at the front and rear thereof, and a right and left side connecting lever 13a bridged across the rear legs 27a. One of the handrails 10 is rotated forward about one rear leg 27a and the other is rotated rearward about the other rear leg 27a on both sides of the right and left side connecting lever 13a to allow the handrails to be folded. In addition, because the safe frame 5 is formed generally in square shape as viewed from the top when assembled, the safe frame 5 can be folded compact.
