OPENING/CLOSING TYPE POCKET FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing type pocket for a vehicle with excellent assembling property while preventing the looseness of a hinge part for rotating a cover body. SOLUTION: The cover body driven to open/close together with a pocket frame is fitted to the surface of the pocket frame pivotally mounted by a pivotally mounting means to the lower end of a base bracket mounted along the inside of the vehicle. The pivotally mounting means is composed of a hinge mechanism with hinge pins 6 inserted and connected to hinge pieces (5a), 5b respectively formed in the base bracket and the pocket frame. The hinge pin 6 has an outer diameter approximately equal to the hole diameter of a pin through hole 7 and has a knurled part 8 formed at one end, with an outer diameter slightly larger than the hole diameter of the pin through-hole 7 and with a length not exceeding the wall thickness of the hinge piece 5b on one side. The knurled part 8 is embedded in the hole wall of the pin through-hole 7 of the hinge piece 5b on one side.
