PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve light resistance of a recording medium and an ink composition. SOLUTION: A polyphenol component is contained in the recording medium. For example, the medium is formed of a base layer 11 and a coating layer 12. The layer 12 is further formed of an ink receiving layer 13, and the polyphenol component is contained in the layer 13. The polyphenol component is contained in the ink composition. Further, the polyphenol component is contained in both the medium and the composition. Thus, the medium and the compositio having more excellent light resistance can be provided by a synergistic effect by incorporating the polyphenol component in both the medium and the composition. |
