PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a silver halide color photographic sensitive material which has high rapid processability, prevents the occurrence of magenta sensitization streaks even by processing in a mini-laboratory or the like and also suppresses curling and to provide a color image forming method using the sensitive material. SOLUTION: The silver halide color photographic sensitive material has at least three silver halide emulsion layers containing silver halide grains having >=95mol% silver chloride content and different from one another in color sensitivity on the paper substrate. The total amount of the hydrophilic binders of the photographic constituent layers of the sensitive material is <=6.5 g/m2 and the rigidity of the paper substrate in a direction perpendicular to the paper making direction is >8 to 13 g.cm. The sensitive material is processed by color development for 5 to 25 sec, bleach fixation for 5 to 25 sec, washing and/or stabilization for 5 to 45 sec and drying for 5 to 15 sec to form the objective color image.
