PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding positioning device in which the drop or the mischucking of a sealing plate from a holder can be eliminated, the adjusting time such as the positioning time can be shortened in changing parts, and no positioning deviation is generated even when a reference pin is drawn after the positioning if necessary. SOLUTION: The welding positioning device comprises a work table 38 movable in the perpendicular direction, a suction guide 43 to hold a work 33 disposed on the work table 38, a holder 35 to insert and support a sealing plate 36, a reference pin 34 to center the sealing plate 36 and an electrode plate 41 provided on the work 33, and a pair of welding electrodes 31, 45 to weld the sealing plate 36 and the electrode plate 41 which are centered.
