PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat press fit device for a metal part which optimizes its temperature and can properly melt a workpiece when press-fitting this metal part. SOLUTION: This heat press fit device for a metal part, heating the metal part to a temperature capable of melting a workpiece formed of thermoplastic resin material to melt a press fitting position of the workpiece by heat of this metal part in this way so as to press fit it to the workpiece, is constituted so as to move a press fit unit 20, having a constitution capable of holding the metal part, by receiving operation of a robot R. A heating coil 52 for heating the metal part held to this press fit unit 20 is provided, a temperature sensor 54 capable of detecting a temperature of the metal part heated by this heating coil 52 is provided, and a control unit correcting a heating time of the metal part in accordance with a detection value of this temperature sensor 54 is provided.
