PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine enabling simultaneous access to control program data for control of an electric variable display device and character data for displaying a character on the electric variable display device, and enabling alternative display of a large volume of image data on the electric variable display device at high speeds. SOLUTION: In a CRT control circuit 86, a CPU 90 accesses a control data ROM 92 to read control program data for control of an electric variable display device, and a VDP 91 accesses a character ROM 88 to read character data for displaying a character on the electric variable display device. |
