<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for sterilizing perishable foods, vegetables and fruits that can retain the freshness of these food products in low costs as they are kept at an ambient temperature usually as they are in the packaged form. SOLUTION: This invention relates to a sterilization process that a photocatalyst is irradiated with the light from a light source and the substrates are arranged within the area in which they can be sterilized by the action of the photocatalyst. In addition, the sterilizer is quipped with a blower to send the wind to the sterilization area, and in addition, equipped with a moisturizer to give the substrates the moisture.</p> |
