<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling water nozzle which is used for producing water- granulated slag and can efficiently convert the slag into coarse granules and/or rigid granules by a relatively simple means in comparison with conventional methods, and to provide a method for producing the water-granulated slag. SOLUTION: This cooling water nozzle for producing water-granulated water has many water-spraying holes 40, and is used for spraying cooling water on the downward flow of the melted slag through the water-spraying holes 40 to cool and granulate the melted slag. Therein, rows each having a plurality of water-spraying holes mutually separately disposed in the width direction of the melted slag flow are vertically disposed at three or more stages so that the vertical projections of the spraying holes of the vertically adjacent two rows are not superposed on each other. The horizontal dimension of the opening of each spraying hole is preferably 5 to 60 mm, and the distance of the adjacent spraying holes separated from each other in the width direction of the melted slag flow is preferably 10 to 100 mm.</p> |
