PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a doorway structure for a base-isolated building reducing the weight of a projecting plate, simplifying the fitting structure of the project ing plate to an upper structure body, having little influence on base isolating performance and realizing a building plan with few restrictions, excellent workability and cost reduction. SOLUTION: In this doorway structure of a base-isolated building having a projecting plate 6 projected onto a vestibule step 5 from an upper structure body (a building unit 3) of the base-isolated building, a support 11 for supporting the vicinity of a projecting end 6b of the projecting plate 6 is disposed at the vestibule step 5, and the own weight of the projecting plate 6 and load applied to the projecting plate 6 are supported by the support 11.
