PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building unit connecting structure and connecting plates therefore which is accurately adjustable in position and prevented from dislocation. SOLUTION: A plurality of building units having columns 11 at four corners are adjacently arranged. Connecting plates 21 are laid between the upper parts of the columns 11 of the building units adjacently arranged in a horizontal direction, and a fitting body 3 is fitted to the upper part of each column and the connecting plate 21 to connect the building units. The connecting plate 21 is provided with openings 221 in the specified positions so as to correspond to the upper parts of the columns 11, and the fitting body 3 is provided with the fitting part 31 of the upper column and the fitting part 32 for adjusting a position fitted in an enlarged diameter to the opening 221 of the connecting plate 21.
