METHOD OF PREVENTING PROSTHESIS FEMUR BED SPLITTING IN PROSTHETICS OF HIP JOINT

medicine, particularly, operative orthopedics; applicable in endoprosthetics of hip joint. SUBSTANCE: method includes three transverse osteotomies of femur bed wall with 20-mm length each. The first osteotomy is made on posterior wall of femur bed at level of lower edge of lesser trochanter from line of posterior edge of lesser trochanter in direction of medial wall. The second osteotomy is made on medial wall of femur bed 5 mm above level of the first osteotomy with 5 mm overlapping of the first osteotomy. The third osteotomy is accomplished on anterior wall of femur bed at level of the first osteotomy with 5 mm overlapping of the second osteotomy. EFFECT: provided implantation of prosthesis limb under conditions of tight fitting and simultaneous restriction of spread of splitting of femur proximal part. 4 dwg, 1 ex
