PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage treating vessel used to treat domestic garbage by utilizing effective microorganisms and enzymes. SOLUTION: This garbage treating vessel has a vessel body C having no means for discharging a decomposition liquid and a partition member 6 having a through-hole 6c. A vent hole 5 is bored in the peripheral wall 2 of the body C in the vicinity of the partition member, and only a group of aerobes or aerobic enzymes are placed on the partition member. Since the means for discharging the decomposed liquid need not be provided, the cost of the garbage treating vessel is reduced.
