<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric double layer capacitor with high breakdown voltage and long reliability. SOLUTION: An electric double layer formed at an interface between a polarizing electrode 9 and an electrolytic solution is used in an electric double layer capacitor. An acidic functional group ts coordinated on a positive polarized electrode 1, while a reductive functional group is coordinated more on a negative polarized electrode 2. Since the acidic functional group is coordinated on the positive polarized electrode 1 and the reductive functional group is coordinated more on the negative polarized electrode 2, the breakdown voltage becomes large, and an electric double layer capacitor with long reliability can be obtained.</p> |
