PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the optical resolution while the influence of an optical noise causing a measuring error is suppressed by photographing the end part of an overlapped stacked sheet object in constant width and judging the number of sheets by a two-dimensional video information change in the sheet stacked direction of a photographed image. SOLUTION: The end image of object stacked sheets 9 is image-formed on a two-dimensional image sensor 5 by using a macro lens 6. A two-dimensional image sensor camera 4 is fitted to a uniaxial shift stage 1 driven by a pulse motor 3 and the end part of the stacked sheets 9 are continuously photographed while the camera 4 is shifted by the motor 3. The image of a scanning face 8 is continuously preserved on an image memory. The continuous image preserved on the memory has width in a sensing direction and a right angle direction. Thus, the stacked sheets can easily be discriminated one by one while the influence of optical noise is analytically removed. |
