PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the demodulation performance by measuring power of a received signal with high accuracy. SOLUTION: An AGC section 10 is provided with a variable gain amplifier 11 that amplifies a received IF(intermediate frequency) signal with an adjusted gain, a mixer 12 that converts the IF signal into a base band signal, a power computer 14 that computes a power of a signal received from a base station on the basis of the digitalized base band signal of I and Q components received from the mixer 12, and power comparators 17a (17b) that compares respectively an upper limit (lower limit) of an object power range and power of the received signal computed by the power computer 14. The AGC section 10 applies automatic gain control to the variable gain amplifier 11 on the basis of the difference supplied from the power comparators 17a, 17b. |
