摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the strength of a header and at the same time control the distribution of flow rate at the upwind and downwind sides of a heat exchange medium flowing in the header. SOLUTION: By arranging reinforcing plates 10 and 11 in headers 2 and 4, the thickness of a site where the reinforcing plates 10 and 11 of the headers 2 and 4 are arranged equivalently becomes large essentially, thus improving the strength of the site where the reinforcing plates 10 and 11 of the headers 2 and 4 are arranged without increasing the weight of the heat exchanger 1 so greatly. Then, by allowing through holes 12 and 13 of the reinforcing plates 10 and 11 to play a role of the constriction of a refrigerant, the value of the diameter or the number of the through holes 12 and 13 of the reinforcing plates 10 and 11 is appropriately adjusted, thus allowing much heat exchange medium to flow to the upwind side of the heat exchanger 1 and allowing the heat exchange medium to uniformly flow at the upwind and downwind sides of the heat exchanger 1 for controlling the distribution of the heat exchange medium.
