PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup that reduces the number of parts for an element holder and therefore the number of assembling/adjusting processes. SOLUTION: The element holder 30 is constituted by integrally forming a leg 32 at both ends of a plate 31 that becomes the base. The plate 31 is provided with a recess 34 for fixing a PD-IC 5. The recess 34 is provided with a hole 35 so that reflected light from an optical disk can pass through. As a result, the reflected light reaches the PD-IC 5. Also, the plate 31 is provided with a screw hole 36 for putting through a screw 37. The element holder 30 is fixed with this screw 37 on an actuator base 6. The PD-IC 5 is displaced in XYZ directions by the element holder 30 through the degree of tightening this screw 37. |
