PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an audio system for vehicles which makes it easy for a passenger to understand a changeover of attribute information on a region wherein he travels or others. SOLUTION: Musical information and speech information which have regional attribute information are stored respectively in a musical information storage part 11 and a narration information storage part 13. By combining alternately the musical information and the speech information corresponding to the regional attribute information detected, program information is composed in a program composing part 15 and it is reproduced by a reproducing output part 17. In a control part 41, it is detected whether the regional attribute information detected in correspondence to the present position is changed from the regional attribute information #1 over to second regional attribute information #2, and at the time point of the changeover of the regional attribute information, the assortment of the program information being reproduced is specified. When the changeover of the regional attribute information is detected, a control is made so as to obtain correspondence to the second regional attribute information #2 and also to execute reproduction from the leading portion of the musical or speech information different from the specified assortment of the program information.
