PURPOSE: A separating apparatus of dummy bar head clip for a continuous casting machine is provided which separates the head clip from a slab link by discharging the head clip that is installed at the front end of a dummy bar to discharge a slab from a casting bow and rotating the head clip using elasticity of a spring at the same time. CONSTITUTION: In a clip separating apparatus for separating a head clip coupled to the front end of a dummy bar that is inserted into a casting bow of a continuous casting facility to discharge a slab, the separating apparatus of dummy bar head clip for the continuous casting facility comprises an ascension plate(14) that is elastically installed by a spring(15) inserted into an insertion groove(16) formed on the upper surface of the front end of the dummy bar(4); a head clip(11) on the bottom of one side of which a locking protrusion(13) is formed, and which is contacted with the ascension plate(14) and installed at the dummy bar(4); and a slab link(17) on which a fixed groove(18) is formed, and which is fused to the front end of the slab, wherein the locking protrusion(13) formed on the head clip(11) is received in the fixed groove(18).
