摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expect a complete combustion of combustion gas and to suppress generation of a large quantity of a sooty smoke by arranging a charge inlet at a front upper part of a furnace body, an air intake port at a front surface of the body, an upper combustion chamber communicating with a lower combustion chamber in an upper part of the lower chamber and a chimney at the upper chamber. SOLUTION: A matter W to be incinerated is charged from a charge inlet 2 at a front upper part of a furnace body 1 in a container-like furnace body 4, ignited, burned, and air necessary to burn it is input from an air intake port 7 of the front surface of the body 1 through an opposed gap R. The matter W is burned to generate combustion gas G. The gas G flows into a lower combustion chamber 8 through a passing gap R and a communicating port 8a, and the gas G of the chamber 8 flows to an upper combustion chamber 9. The gas G in the chamber 9 is externally exhausted through a chimney 10, and ash after the combustion is discharged from an ash outlet 3. In this case, as a furnace structure, a double structure in which the body 4 is internally mounted in the body 1 is adopted.
