PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a seal member at the prescribed position of a housing reliably by fixing the seal member made of a nearly flat soft elastic body for sealing by abutting the opposite end faces at the time of connector connection. SOLUTION: This connector 1 is provided with a housing 12 having a coupling recess 12a to be coupled with the coupling projection of a mating connector, and a plurality of electrode terminals 3 are male-female connected. A seal member 13 made of a nearly flat soft elastic body is fixed to the bottom face S2 of the coupling recess 12a of the connector 1 with a sticker or an adhesive 14. This connector 1 makes sealing by abutting the opposite end faces when it is connected to the mating connector 1. Since the seal member 13 of the connector 1 is fixed to the bottom face S2 of the coupling recess 12a, the seal member 13 is prevented from being displaced or peeled off when the mating connector is fitted or removed.
