摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the number of channels, to make line use efficiency high, and to reduce system construction cost and running cost by varying the number and transmission rate of information channels as to the communication control method of a communication system including an integrated service digital network(ISDN) line. SOLUTION: The communication system which has 16 channels and requires 8 kbps for each channel uses the transmission rate(BRI) line 1 of the basic interface line of ISDN and changes channels of the BRI line 1 from conventional 2B+D to nB'+D (n is variable and B' is variable with n) to have variable channel constitution of n=16.B=8 kbps. Thus, one channel is used for 8 kbps and then 2B(128 kbps) that BRI has is usable as 16B'(B'=8 kbps), so that signal transmission of 16 information channels can be realized by one BRI line 1. Similarly, the number of channels can be varied according to a required transmission rate.
