Energy generating system using wind power

The system is applicable to energy generation by translation wind motors, in which blades with variable angle of attach are mounted on a continuous drive cable circulating around horizontal pulleys mounted on towers. The blades (1) are attached to the drive cable through separators (6) and are also attached to a parallel control cable (8) so that the angle of attack can be varied by relative displacement of the two cables. Automatic adjustment of attack angle to achieve maximum power can be achieved by incorporating a calibrated spring in the linkage of the blade to the drive cable.
