PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a picture reader excellent in reliability and capable of preventing the occurrence of abnormal sound and strange sound caused by vibration with a simple configuration. SOLUTION: A rocking member 623 is provided with projections 623a being a pressurizing part and fitting references 623b. The distance between top ends of both of them is set to be a little shorter than the shortest size of the tolerance of the distance between a casing-side fitting reference and the surface of a glass 621d. Then when the member 623 is fixed to a contact sensor 621 with a machine screw not shown in Figure, the member 623 is lightly force- fitted. Namely, the projections 623a pressurize the glass 621d toward projection parts A provided at a casing 621a, so that the glass 621d land the casing 621a are made in contact with each other.
