A telescopic suction hose has an outer hose, an inner hose and a fixing plate, which is directed axially, with at least one stop element. The stop element has stopping surfaces and can move along the central longitudinal axis of the suction hose and enters into coupling with fixing grooves of the fixing plate recurrently. The fixing grooves have the counter stop surfaces, which are placed on the outer hose in such a manner that it overlaps the inner hose, by a cup together with a box. In the box arranged are a stop element, a spring to keep the fixed position and a starting device for the stop element. The starting device is made as a rotation body, which interacts directly with the stop element. In doing so the fixed position of the rotation body is ensured by the spring.
