PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an O/E unit case and an E/O unit case to be lessened in size and an O/E unit and an E/O unit to be lessened in number of component parts by a method wherein a required number of O/E units are horizontally slotted in a case as stacked up in layers. SOLUTION: An OPT unit 21 is composed of an OPT chassis 22, a rear panel, and a lid 24, where a partition plate 26 is fixed at the center of the OPT chassis 22. The inside of the OPT unit 21 is separated into two spaces, one is an O/E unit housing section 27, and the other is E/O unit housing section 28. Four O/E units 29 are horizontally slotted in the O/E unit housing section 27 as stacked up in three layers, and two E/O units 30 are slotted in the E/O unit housing section 28 as stacked up in two layers. By this setup, an O/E unit case and an E/O unit case can be lessened in size, and the O/E unit 29 and the E/O unit 30 can be reduced in number of parts. |
