PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an excellent both-surface image extending over a long term by excellently eliminating toner left on an intermediate transfer body as an image forming device constituted so that a toner image formed on an image forming body is formed at both surfaces of a transfer material through the intermediate transfer body. SOLUTION: An electrifying roller 141 constituted so that it can be brought into contact with the intermediate transfer body 14a and separated therefrom is arranged. Then, the toner left on the transfer body 14a after transfer is electrified to opposite polarity to the toner image again by the roller 141 and returned to a photoreceptor drum 10 by a primary transfer unit 14c. By applying bias voltage whose polarity is identical to the sticking toner stuck to the roller 141 to the roller 141, the sticking toner is transferred to the transfer body 14a. By imparting electric charge whose polarity is opposite to the toner image to the sticking toner transferred to the transfer body 14a by a secondary transfer unit 14g, the sticking toner on the transfer body 14a is returned to the drum 10 by the unit 14c. |
