PART MOUNTING METHOD AND DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable various kinds of part holding members to be used switching them from one to another in a short time by a method wherein various part holding members corresponding to parts to handle are each provided in part handling tools so as to be used switching them from one to another. SOLUTION: Various kinds of part holding members 3a corresponding to parts to handle are provided to part handling tools 3 which are moved around so as to be used switching them from one to another. If the part holding member 35a which is used when the part holding tool 35 is returned to a part feed position is not fit for the type of an electronic part to pick up, it is replaced with one fit for the electronic part. By this constitution, the part holding member 35a can be switched from one to another easily in a short time through such a manner where the part holding member 35a fit for an electronic part to pick up is selected out of the part holding members 35a supported on the part handling tool 35 and positioned at a use position substituting a current one.
