PURPOSE: A composition containing soybean extract, Crataegi Fructus extract, Angelicae gigantis Radix extract, γ-oryzanol, Zizyphi Spinosi Semen extract and Polygalae radix extract for treatment of the menopausal syndrome is provided, which shows better treatment effect on face flushing and blood pressure than a composition containing soybean extract, Angelicae gigantis Radix extract, andγ-oryzanol. CONSTITUTION: A process for the preparation of tablets for treatment of the menopausal syndrome comprises: mixing soybean extract, Crategi Fructus extract, Angelicae gigantis Radix extract, γ -oryzanol, Zizyphi Spinosi Semen extract and Polygalae radix extract(other additives like as ferrous lactate, Vitamins, minerals, crystalline cellulose can be added); shaping into tablets by common pharmaceutical method.
