PURPOSE: The apparatus for nesting/separating voice and data signals in data communications using phone lines is provided to execute telephone service and data communication service at the same time, without generating mutual communication obstacles. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for nesting/separating voice and data signals has the structure of a low pass filter to extract voice information from a voice/data synthesized signal through 4-stage filtering process. A modem(70) and a surge absorbing element(102) are connected to both sides of a telephone line(40). A primary filter element(104) composed of coils(L1,L2) is connected to the rear part of the surge absorbing element(102). A secondary filter element(106) is connected to the rear part of the primary filter element(104). A tertiary filter element(108) composed of coils(L3,L4) is connected to the rear part of the secondary filter element(106). A biquadratic filter element(110) composed of a capacitor is connected to the rear part of the tertiary filter element(108).
