A method for adjusting a protocol signal to be transmitted based on adjustments made to a detected protocol signal. The detected protocol signal carries adjustment information made to such signal to increase the likelihood of the signal being detected. The adjustment information is retrieved from the detected protocol signal and is used to adjust at least one characteristic of the protocol signal to be transmitted thereby also increasing the likelihood that such a signal (i.e., protocol signal to be transmitted) will be detected. <IMAGE> |
