FIRE MONITORING APPARATUS BY USING ELEVATOR MONITORING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A fire monitoring apparatus by using an elevator monitoring system is provided to remove the supplementary communication lines between the main control center and a plurality of remote stations located each building and to generate the reports. CONSTITUTION: The fire monitoring system comprises a R-type fire signal receiving device(10), an interface device(20) for receiving the fire alarm signal generated from the R-type fire signal receiving device and for operating the predetermined process, a monitoring computer(30), and an elevator control system(40). The R-type fire signal receiving device located in the main control center receives the fire alarm signal and transmits a signal corresponding to the fire alarm signal to the interface device by using the interface board(10a). The monitoring computer receives the output signal of the interface device and transmits the processed information to each elevator control system via RS-485 communication line. Each elevator control system broadcasts an alarm message and controls the elevator in the fire emergency mode.
