The door (4) is enclosed by a metal door-frame (2) leaving a peripheral gap (68) filled with sealing material (10,64) such as gypsum or a cooling gel, which foams under the effect of heat. The fireproof door-frame and or the fireproof frame (60) surrounding the door is hollow at least in parts. The sealing material fills the interior (46,62) and has perforations (44,64) through to the gap, through which foaming sealing material can emerge into the gap. The hollow profile of the door-frame is attached at one end to a first arm (36) parallel with the wall (16) to which it is fixed. A second arm (38) is next to the first arm. Both arms form a U-shaped clamp (50) with the hollow profile. The clamp has a first spacer bar (54) made of material for cooling the door-frame and resting against the wall.
