The connector system includes connectors, one having a protruding part (22,23), which engages by sliding into a slot (25,29) provided in the other connector. A projection, having a tapered shape in the sliding direction, is provided near to the coupling end of either the protruding part or the slot. The projection may be provided in both the protruding part and the slot. The projection may be less than or equal to a third of the length of the protruding part or the slot.
