PURPOSE: A high efficiency weaving submerged arc welding(SAW) method is provided to reduce welding time and improve overall work efficiency while preventing lack of fusion and burn through of the welded layer by distributing welding heat. CONSTITUTION: A high efficiency weaving SAW method comprises a first step of installing two base metals(30,34) with V-cut surfaces(38) to face with each other, and forming a two-layered first welded layer(40) by performing CO2 welding to both base metals; a second step of dispersing iron powder(44) onto the first welded layer; and a third step of forming a single-layered second welded layer(48) by performing an SAW method for weaving, at a high velocity, an electrode which uses a solid wire having a small diameter as a welding material onto the first welded layer where iron powder is uniformly distributed in the second step.
