The concrete surfacing removal method uses breaking up of the concrete surfacing (2) for releasig it from its underlying foundation (1), with removal of the broken up concrete material. The area being broken up is enclosed by a liquid spray jet ring for preventing dust, with removal of the broken up material in its damp condtion. An Independent claim for a concrete surfacing removal device is also included.
