Endoprothesis has a shaft whose cross-sectional surfaces are smaller in the distal direction. The individual cross-sectional surfaces (2-6) distributed along the length of the shaft in the proximal part of the shaft are laterally and medially formed of two arcs of a circle at a distance from each other. The lateral arc has a larger radius than the medial arc. The middle point of the medial arc is dorsally displaced compared to the lateral one. The ventral contour formed as the connecting line between the lateral and medial curves consists of a concave curve. The cross-sectional surfaces in the distal part of the shaft gradually form a closed circle. The middle points of both arcs gradually meet each other in the proximal part and form a middle point at the distal ends.
