Described is a mechanical system for cutting nopal pads or the like forages such as Agave, useful as cattle feed, which substantially facilitates the product process. The present invention consists in a roller system interacting with two cutting elements through which raw material is passed in order to be effectively processed in a short time. The machine maintenance consists in a general cleaning, lubricating the rotating parts and exchanging blades when required. Unlike similar machines that liquefy the forage for accelerating the dehydrating process, the inventive crusher processes the forage in such a manner that small pieces are left in order to easily maintain humidity and nutritional properties.
