PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a spinning oil capable of facilitating the high-speed spinning of a thermoplastic synthetic fiber to be supplied to a false-twist texturing by including a polymer having a specific vinyl monomer as an essential constituent unit. SOLUTION: This spinning oil contains a polymer having one kind of a vinyl monomer of the formula [Rf is a 4-18C perfluoroalkyl; A1 is a 2-4C alkylene; m is 10-200; n is 0 or 1; R1 is H or methyl; R2 is H, methyl or(GH2)s- CO2R5 (s is 0 or 1-4; R5 is H or a 1-8C alkyl); X is (CH2)q, SO2NR3(CH2)q or the like (q is 0 or 1-4); R3 is H or a 1-8C alkyl], and has a surface tension T (mN/m) at 100 deg.C and a rate Re (wt.%) of the residue after heating at 500 deg.C, satisfying the relation of the formulas Re<=3.8-0.20T, 10<=T<19 and 0<=Re<=0.7.
