FOAMED MOLDING PRODUCT AND OIL ADSORPTION MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain both a foamed molding product capable of using a urethane waste for recycling, having high oil adsorbability and an oil adsorbing material using the foamed molding product. SOLUTION: This foamed molding product 80 is obtained by compounding a thermoplastic resin B with fine powder A of urethane foam having <=2μm avezage particle diameter to give a mixture and molding the mixture and is used as an oil adsorbing material. Since the foamed molding product 80 is obtained by molding the mixture of the fine powder A of urethane foam and the thermoplastic resin B, the urethane fine powder A does not hinder solidification of the thermoplastic resin B and the foamed molding product 80 can be made in a desired composition. The foamed molding product 80 having rigidity higher than that obtained in the case of using only the urethane foam can be made by compounding the urethane foam with the thermoplastic resin B and is suitable as an oil adsorbing material.
