PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a urine bag for a surgical opening such that a capacity for collecting urine is large relative to the contents of the bag. SOLUTION: This urine bag 20 includes a frontal wall 22, a rear wall 24 provided with a urine filling port, and a central partition wall 48, and an inlet chamber 38 is formed on the rear wall side of the central partition wall while a urine sump chamber 40 is formed on the frontal wall side of the central partition wall 48. The central partition wall 48 is formed as a fluid-impermeable part from beneath the lower end of the urine filling port to the upper end of the bag 20 and is formed also as a fluid-permeable part from beneath the lower end of the urine filling port to the lower end of the bag. An absorbent pad 42 which absorbs urine is provided inside the urine sump chamber 40 from approximately the lower end to the upper end of the bag 20. Urine flowing into the inlet chamber from the urine filling port through the urine filling port permeates through the fluid-permeable part of the central partition wall 48 and is absorbed by the absorbent pad in the urine sump chamber 40. The urine is absorbed also by the absorbent pad 42 located upward of the lower end of the urine filling port.
