PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pest-repellent device capable of controlling termites by providing an electric shock thereto so as not to go up from the point when the termites come between electrodes by installing an applied voltage-generating means, a body, the electrodes, a battery and a specific fixing part. SOLUTION: This pest-repellent device has an applied voltage-generating means for generating the voltage, a body 3 for housing the applied voltage- generating means, electrodes 6 to which the voltage from the applied voltage- generating means is applied, a battery 4 for supplying an electric power to the applied voltage-generating means and a fixing part 2 for fixing the electrodes 6 to a prop 1. The applied voltage-generating means can generate a high-voltage pulse or a high-frequency voltage, and the electrodes can be formed by mutually arranging a pair of the electrodes in comb shapes.
