<p>Separation measurement method using at least two contactless distance measurement sensors (41-46), especially ultrasonic sensors for measuring distance using a time of flight pulse echo method. According to the method, measurement impulses are transmitted from the at least two sensors in alternating time-displaced manner to provide a first measurement. The measurement echo pulses are received by the sensors and the measurements are repeated to provide a second time displaced verification measurement. An independent claim is made for an ultrasonic measurement arrangement for making distance or separation measurements.</p> |
