PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liquid washing agent composition which can satisfy basic performances such as foamability, washability and use touch and has excellent appearance, good safety and good stability, by compounding a washing agent composition containing a surfactant and water with a specific amount of an inorganic colored pigment. SOLUTION: This liquid washing agent composition contains 5 to 55 wt.% of a surfactant and 35 to 90 wt.% of water. Therein, 0.0001 to 0.1 wt.% of an inorganic colored pigment is further compounded. The surfactant is preferably an anionic surfactant, especially a higher fatty acid salt. The higher fatty acid includes fatty acid mixtures obtained by the conventional high pressure hydrolysis method of animal oils or fats such as tallow or mutton tallow, vegetable oils or fats such as coconut oil, palm kernel oil, soybean oil, olive oil or cotton seed oil, or the like, and lauric acid, myristic acid and palmitic acid obtained by separating and purifying the fatty acid mixture. The inorganic colored pigment includes indigo, ultramarine, red iron oxide, yellow iron oxide, chromium oxide, and chromium hydroxide.
