PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the productivity of and facilitate the assembly of shutter opening and closing devices by reducing the number of their parts used. SOLUTION: A shutter opening and closing device 2 for automobile ventilators uses, for a ventilator case body 1 with an air outlet 1a, a shutoff valve 3 and a dial 5 for opening and closing it via a link 7. The dial 5, a bushing 4 slidable at the center of the dial 5, a pin shutter 6 engaged with the shutoff valve 3, and the link 7 connecting the dial 5 and pin shutter 6 are all molded integrally from more than one material. The integral form of the parts 4 to 7 saves the assembly that they would otherwise need, and therefore reduces the assembly man-hour and improves the productivity.
