An internet television having a distributed processing function and a distributed processing method are provided to distributedly process large data such as a multimedia file by using a high-performance computer around the internet television by connecting the internet television to the computer. Text information and multimedia information are separated from website information inputted through an internet connection part(S30). The multimedia information is transmitted to a computer through a cable/wireless communication part so that the multimedia information is distributedly processed(S40). The text information is converted into a video signal(S50). A video signal and a speech signal of the distributedly processed multimedia information are received. A video signal by the text information is coupled to the video signal of the multimedia information and video processing is performed and the speech signal of the multimedia information is processed and then the processed video and speech signals are outputted to a television(S70,S80). |
