PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a foam sheet consisting of a plastic material having a biodegradability, which consists of a combination of a cap film having a same level thickness to the plastic foam sheet used usually with a back film, and having a practically sufficient biodegradability at a price capable of being used in a usual usage. SOLUTION: This biodegradable plastic foam sheet obtained by adhering a cap film having many caps obtained by depressing the film with a back film, both made from a plastic, at the bottom part surface of the caps, is obtained by using a modified aliphatic polyester resin expressed by the formula [R is CO or CH(OCH3); (m) is 2-4 integer, N means a repetition] as the plastic material.
