PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a noise level by suppressing vibration of a trunk lid with minimizing an increase in weight. SOLUTION: This hinge arm 10 comprises a journalling part 10a, a first circular part 10b, and a connecting part 10g having an approximately rectangular sectional shape, and comprises a lower vicinity part of an approximately U-shaped bent part (second circular part 10d, third circular part 10e) having an elliptical sectional shape where a length in a diagonal direction to a center line of the hinge arm 10 in a longitudinal direction (normal direction of the approximately U-shaped bent part) is longer in a turning plain of the hinge arm 10. A trunk lid can be thereby prevented from vibrating in a front-to-back direction of a vehicular body without increasing a weight of the hinge arm 10 or with suppressing the increase in weight to the utmost, resulting in decrease of noise of low frequency generated near a driver's seat.
