PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cleanser and a urolith cleanser which can highly maintain a thickening effect for a long period and can exhibit an excellent cleansing power also after stored for a long period. SOLUTION: This cleanser contains poly(N-vinylacetamide) as a thickening agent and an acid as a cleanser. The acid is preferably an inorganic acid such as hydrochloric acid. The concentration of the acid is preferably 2 to 10 normal, more preferably 3 to 8 normal. The concentration of the poly(N-vinylacetamide) is preferably 0.1 to 10 wt.%, more preferably 0.2 to 1 wt.%. On the other hand, the urolith cleanser contains the cleanser.
